Hi

I am not american so I don't know where good stores are.
I am in New Hampshire for 4 months and I'd like to buy a laptop.
I don't want to order it and receive it by mail.
I tried bestbuy and compusa but they don't have what I want.
I am looking for a laptop with a good graphic card (x600 would be nice) and I can pay 900 to 1200$.
i can find this on websites but I want to find a store ahere I could buy it directly.

Thanks for your help

Circuit city and CompUSA are local to many people. But you are always going to get a better deal if your order it online.

Start by knowing the make(s) and model(s) you want. Then, you can search google for the best available deals on those models.

If you're not too far from New York City, there are lots of competing brick and mortor storefronts. At least some of them will price match others.

If you find one of your preferred models at a chain like Office Depot, Office Max, Staples etc., look for coupons online that will save you even more money.

Check the Sunday papers for ads for specials from any other nearby stores. CompUSA is a pain to deal with, but sometimes, they have special deals that make it worth the hassle.

Good luck. :)

Maybe you could pick it up there?

I think it's just headquarters, and they only ship orders, but i will send them an email to ask.
Thank you for all your advises

Are you working here in the US or do you know people? Can you get it shipped to work or a friends house?

JToxic -> Yes I may have it shipped to a friend house, but if I am not here when the order arrives I don't know if my friend can get it instead of me?

RossMAN my zip code is 030xx, why?
But I am going to try what Harvey said

He'll be able to sign for it - I've never had a package that absolutely had to be signed for by the person it was addressed to.

Ok
so I think I will have it shiped in my friend house.
And I found a good laptop wich is 1200$ on toshiba online store, and 1000$ in a store like http://www.pricemad.com
do you think it's safer to buy it directly at toshiba's store or I can save 200$ in other online store with no problem?
Thnak you again for your advices
