Until Apple can provide a way for me to get more for less money and allow the flexibility of the PC, then I am going to stick with a PC.

Should I consider a Mac for my next computer?
Probably not, because some guy posted that he had to sent his into the shop three times at $300!!!! per office visit. His computer is so bad, Apple is going to give him another one if he has more trouble with it.

wow, good job reading his post correctly. he said there was $300+ in damage every time, but apple covered it, he payed nothing. also notes that he freely admits to abusing his laptop, so its no suprise that its broken so much.
Exactly. I didn't know AppleCare even covered accidental damage like that. From the op's post:

"Here are the main reason's it's been in for service:
1. Highschool student
2. Backpack
3. Hopping fence, daily.
4. Bus
5. Did I mention Backpack? "

can you say, "spoiled brat who doesen't know the value of money to be fence jumping with three grand in his backpack?"

I have an iBook G3 (14.1", 900mhz)

3 grand my ass

and why cant everybody just use both, you cheap bastards
