Good rum?

Cruzan rum is pretty good, although normally I drink Bacardi. Myers is good, I'm told, but I don't care for dark rum.

Goslings Bermuda Rum, Dark and smooth...Great with Coke!

Agreed. Good stuff.
Try mixing it with ginger beer (not ginger ale....there's a difference) and a twist of lime. Very tasty summer drink.

Heh...I was in a liquor store, and there it was, sitting right next to the Captain Morgan...Admiral Nelson! Same font, pose for the picture, and everything...I couldn't believe it.

A buddy of mine says Mount Gay is quite good...personally, I'd just go for some Bacardi.

I picked up some Mt. Gay Eclipse 154 proof rum while in Trinidad. For 154 proof, that stuff was still reasonably smooth. (tho' I don't advise doing shots of it...)

I can't get over how cheap bacardi 151 is. $20 for a liter, lasts me quite some time.

I'll pick up a handel of captain for rum drinks. It must be the way the bottle is shaped or something, but that stuff seems to last FOREVER.
