That is good stuff. It's a bit sweeter than the regular rum if anyone is actually interested. Although it's incredibly hard to find in the Bay Area. When I was still going to UCSC - we got a bottle from my friend that was from NC. We saved it till graduation.
 
I prefer Bacardi Silver (light) over Bacardi Gold (dark).

Bacardi Ciclon is good. Bacardi Gold spiked with tequila and lime flavoring. Good to mix with Vanilla Coke, hardly tastes at all like you're drinking liquor, but its 70 proof.

d00d, bacardi silver are coolers; sorta like smirnoff ice, but with rum.

Oh, and for white rum it's Bacardi, but for dark, I love Cruzan (not 151).

I can chug the stuff. Anyone else ever try? Its not so bad, the burning starts when you stop. One *good* pull ( like 6 to 8 shots worth ) can do me for the night easy. And no, not an alcoholic, do it more as a show than anything. The look on people's faces are priceless.

lol, same here...

one night, i did 5 double shots of 151, 3 shots of daniels, and 3 bud lights. phew, i was toast. woke up at 4am sleeping in the backseat of my car, i dunno what happnd all night. ill never do that again 😛

Liquor doesn't age once it's out of the barrel, sorry. 🙁



Mount Gay is pretty much the gold standard as far as rums you can usually find in the store.

Gosling's is also pretty good.

My personal fave is Cockspur. It's made in Barbados like Mount Gay, is a little cheaper, but a bit harder to find. Most liquor stores can order it for you tho.
