Morrowind was the worst game ever.

KotOR 1+2 were both pretty good, though.

are you limited to pc games, or do you also have a consol system sitting around?

Since most probably disagree with this statement, do you want to explain?

it's an MMORPG without the MMO, the three letters that make games like EQ and WoW actually fun.

Dungeon Lords is horrible. Released way too early.

I totally agree about Fallout, Baldurs Gate, Planescape Torment.

Never tried Morrowind. Didn't like Dungeon Siege and for whatever reason, I didn't like Never Winter Nights. I guess it was too much like Baldur's Gate.

If you have a console (PS2 hopefully) there are tons of RPG's that are good.

Dungeon Siege was good for multiplayer item hunting, Diablo style, but it was overly simplified character development. Morrowind was a lot more involved. You could actually design your own spells in Morrowind, something I loved. You should try it, but make sure you get the expansions. It will last a long time with expansions.

It's not an MMORPG though, it's an RPG. You have a story, a character, and a world to explore. How is that any different than any other RPG? Except maybe most aren't as open-ended as Morrowind, nor look nearly as good.

FF7 - excellent game, get the windows XP patch

My all time favourite - Baldur's gate, play it all the way through from BG1. The last chapter (Throne of Bhaal) is amazing

in terms of gameplay style, I thought it was almost identical to a game like EQ, both in terms of the gameplay itself and the open endedness of it.
