Final Fantasy 3? :p Nah, try to find Fire Emblelm or maybe buy the GBA versions of the FF series.

How are the GBA versions?
There are a bunch of FFV Advances at the local GameStop.

probably just like the snes versions, which were awesome

could also try golden sun for advance. also try mario & luigi, superstar saga and partners in time.

apparently the first 3 phantasy star games came out in one cart for gba. breath of fire 1 and 2 are also worth getting, again, gba games.

sword of mana is a remake of the original game boy's final fantasy adventure. that was a pretty good game back in the day. though, the gamespot article on it is incorrect, secret of mana is the sequel to final fantasy adventure, rather than ffa being the prequel to secret of mana.

Try the GBA game "Sword of Mana" if you like action RPGs. Reminiscent of the classic Secret of Mana 1/2, Secret of Evermore, etc. Great gameplay and still follows its SNES roots.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is a surprisingly good RPG actually. Childish, but the fun factor is amazing and some parts can be challenging. Other then that, try FF3.

I didn't like FF3 very much, because the early FF games have this eternal level up thing.. which makes it get boring. like you have to level up for two weeks before doing anything.

Anyways FFV is, well, like the superfami version, but a few extra things.. awesome.

FFVI is coming out in february!

Thanks all

I know that Amazon has the FF3 in stock but since I'm flying out pretty soon and might not be able to pin down delivery I'd rather not.
I might try Contact and FFV for GBA....Partners in Time also seems like a good game but I'd like to try something less Mario-ish since that's all I play on the DS and can use a different face.

Awesome.
