Good restaurants in Denver?

My friends, my girlfriend, and I are in town until Monday. Just wondering if anyone has any reccomendations for restaurants. We are hitting club Beta tomorrow night and are staying downtown.

You used the words "good" and "Denver" in the same thread?

Boy, there's only two things that come from Denver!

Steers and -----s

theres a place called swing tai on colorado blvd i believe (near cherry creek) that is really good.

Also, for a neat dining experience, you can try casa bonita. They have rock climbers, divers, magic shows, etc all while you eat. The food wasn't spectacular, but i would go back just for all of the cool things going on.

Plus it was on South Park 😛
What about Gunther Toody's?

It really depends on how much you want to drop on dinner and if you can do reservations. There are some places that require reservations and others where it's recommended. One good restaurant that's near Coor's Field is The Chophouse, really good steaks there. If you're more into seafood then you probably want to check out either Pappadeaux or McCormick's. Don't want to get fancy? Well if you're into pizza Two Fisted Mario's has awesome pizza. If you want a real nice and fancy dinner then The Broker would be another place to go, I think they require reservations however. I almost forgot one other good location to get food and that's at the Wynkoop Brewery which is also close to Coor's Field.

*sigh*

Something tells me you haven't eaten at a Denver restaurant or perhaps there isn't something that fits your tastes although I find that hard to believe as many different restaurants we have here.

I had Ethiopian in Denver with my uncle. I do not recommend that.

I ate at one Ethiopian place east of downtown on Colfax. It was okay but not the greatest.

The Cheesecake Factory is the shit. Their menu is like a dictionary. I shit you not they make everything. I've had stuff there from orange chicken to ribs and it's all been great.

Not quite sure what's so LOL about that. I think ESPN might even have a studio in the area. Its not like the area is lacking in professional sports. Notable sports & teams that Denver has:

Denver Broncos
Denver Nuggets
Colorado Avalanche
Colorado Rockies
CU Buffs
CSU Rams
Denver Crush (arena football)
Colorado Mammoth (lacrosse)
Colorado Rapids (professional soccer)

I may have missed a team or two but that's a fair number of teams. Most of them having won a championship or two.

Denver is actually a great town. It's not the image most people have about it.

Denver has definitely housed some amazing players as well from those teams over the years.

Oh yeah, Cheesecake Factory is amazing. I still think Ling and Louie's is better though. Their molten chocolate cake is ridiculously good. And for those with celiac disease, it's gluten free.
