Good Remote Control Software that doesn't require any port forwarding

I from time to time, help people out with their computers, it'd be nice to be able to do so remotely. I love VNC, except explaining how to forward ports on a router isn't something I like doing. Is there a good application that can get around that and connect back to the application on my end so only I have to forward ports?
