I have a small living room and a tiny love-seat type couch that's falling apart. I was hoping I wouldn't have to get another couch, and then the thought of recliners went through my mind. Can anyone here recommend some affordable ones? Amazon seems to have some for a few hundred dollars each, some even less. I can't afford the $500 ones right now, but something good and in the middle would be nice.

Suggestions?

Get one with a fridge in the side as you won't have someone to bring you beer while you watch tv.

Just craigslist something cheap. Don't get anything you'll feel bad about leaving behind or throwing out.

I got a full size recliner at wally world thats comfy and does the job for $250. It's fake leather, but it's comfortable, and if I take care it should last a while.

I have had a couple over the years, thought they were decent quality, and good prices from the local mega sized furniture store.

Na... Having a chair you have to plug in sucks. I guess it depends how your room is set up but it can be annoying.

yeah it depends on the room for sure. if it's 1 chair dead in the middle of the room, it probably will be kind of odd.

you'd have no clue that my 5 seats are all plugged in though.

I would say it's best to go to a store and try to sit in one.

If you have Value City Furniture or Ashley furniture near you, they may have a decent selection of affordable recliners.

I have a dual recliner with cupholders in the middle from Value City (in home theater) it was kinda expensive, but it's ohh so very comfy. Only problem is that the fiance always falls asleep when we watch movies.

A man doesn't cheap out on his throne. If you can't afford something good then save until you can (or just pay interest like a muppet).
