Biggie Smalls and Method Man are two of my favorite rap artists. They have/had a flow and voice quality that really set them apart.

It's funny, in my teens I was the -same- exact way. I only listened to heavy metal. A friend of mine who was more openminded was always exasperated with me because of it. Now I know why 😛 *shrug* they're the ones missing out on all that music has to offer.

Yeah well I can understand if you just don't like that style of music, but to say they have no talent or that it's not music is quite close-minded and ignorant IMO.

First off, not that I would expect anyone white to know this, but rap and hiphop are not interchangeable. Technically, rap is a style of music, typified by spoken-word, rhyming lyrics and the beats we all know and love.

Hip-hop is a cultural phenomena (or, some people would say, simply a culture itself) comprised of things like rap, graffiti, and breakdancing.

Just so you know.
