Thermaltake Silentboost is great, but pricey.

The stock cooler from an AXP 3200+ is a solid, cheap option. It is the AVC 112C86 Shouldn't be too expensive and is pretty quiet.

If you can find a used AX7 and Panaflo L1A, that would be the way to go.
Very efficient cooling with a low speed fan.

Mine is near silent and holds my chip cool at 2.2Ghz (actual)

Noisy. I've had one before and I hated the thing.

I use an Akasa "King Copper" - £15 here in the UK, keeps my 3000+ (stock) at 43C idle, 52C load.

You might also want to look at the Speeze range, I think the Athlon one is called the Falcon Rock II. They're even quieter, but the cooling performance is slightly worse.

Also, you could mate the fans to a fan controller, such as the Aerogate II (Cooler Master), I have the King Copper turned down to 2000rpm and it's lovely and quiet :)

I've used this CoolerMaster on many AMD builds. Inexpensive and almost silent. I'm very happy with these. Much quieter than the retail HS/Fan. I quit ordering retail AMD processors because they are too noisy.

If you're not overclocking, you will be very happy with this CoolerMaster.
