Good quality headphones?

I'm building a computer and I want some good quality headphones for it, for less than $150. Attached microphones are a convienience, but not nessecary. I want a comfortable pair with good audio for long periods of gaming and listening to music. I was originally looking at the Zalman Theatre 6 headphones but then read some bad comments- and I trust gamers somewhat more than I trust reviews of big sites. A lot of sites don't use the components like a gamer would. They look like they'd get uncomfortable after a while anyway.
Sennheiser are a good looking brand, what are their best headsets in my price range, and are there any GOOD 5.1 channel headphones? thanks.

I've read alot of people say the Sennheiser PC150's are good and they have a mic too though I haven't tried them myself. Should be in your price range as well.

5.1 in headphones is a gimmick. I don't know of any 150$ headphones with a mic but the sein PC-150's are great for 40$ .

have you considered audiophilie / audio recording headphones? People in recording demand the highest quality in headphones when editing and mixing music. For my audio production computer i have a set of audio technica headphones for 100 bucks Canadian, they are fantastic companred to any consumer brand headphones. if you are interested, start a thread at www.homerecording.com/bbs

I have a pair of the bose tri-port headphones. They are awesome. I use them with my ipod and could not ask for better sound. Give them a listen, they price out at $149.99.

the industry standard and what everyone uses on movie production sets are the Sony 7506's. Very clear and good quality headphones. they run around $90-100. Not the best out there, but best bang for your buck.

Unless you're a real audio maniac, save yourself some money and get a 40$ one from radioshack. I've tryed many headphone over the years and I found out for now at least that no 150$ headphone is worth that prenium price.

I did some research and decided the Medusa 5.1 setup was the way to go. They are being shipped right now, so I'll have to get back to you on exactly how good they are. There are probably better sounding stereo phones for the price, but I was looking for 5.1.
