Another vote for the Shures. They isolate sound (passively) so well they could be used as earplugs. Great quality (I have the older SE110s)

For me it was an easy choice cause it's something I use all day every day...I've literally put thousands of hours on mine for the few years I've had them. And even though I'm totally used to them, they still consistently impress me. If I could get away with bringing my Ultrasone circumaurals to work I would, but these are easily the next best thing.

I personally cant stand the kind that literally plug into your ear - they make me feel like I'm underwater. The PK2 manage to sound great and have good bass without forcing you to stuff something inside your inner ear.

Same thing for me, I've tried using IEMs and just can't stand them. My ear canals are small so they pop out all the time even with the smallest tips, and I hate how everything resonates in your head when your ears are sealed. :D

I've been using cheap Sennheiser MX400's for a very long time, and was looking to get new earbuds. I thought about getting the MX471 or MX581, but I've started reading about the Yuin PK2 and might try those out.

little update: I was going to order the Yuin PK2, but wasn't sure and thought they were a liitle expensive for earbuds. So I ordered the PK3 instead for under 40$, and they're excellent for the price. Much better than my old Sennheiser MX400.

So for people who want cheap earbuds, get the PK3!
