1. Last night a 60 Priest on an epic mount was running through Grom Gol pulling trains of gaurds and just being annoying. On her last pass, my friend (44 rogue) used his discombobulator ray to knock her off her mount and turn her into a gnome. I (44 shaman) then hit her with a frost shock, the train of guards quickly killed her on the edge of town. After a few minutes she ressed and attacked my friend who ran off. I yelled she had was low on mana, attack! We got into an underwater fight and killed her. Smart Horde >> 60 Alliance.

1. Last week we saw two Alliance on the beach near BB on their mounts. It was a 52 Pally and 48 Warr. We were a 43 Rogue and Shaman. We attacked in a swift motion, killed the war fast and then the pally. They had 14 combined levels on us. Cordination and communication (we play on the phone) for the win.

3. I got jumped by two (43 and 39) druids the other day I was 44. They killed me once (I tried to run at first), but I noticed they played in caster form the whole time. I then spent the next 30 mintes killing them at least 4 times each, even though they often got the jump on me in stealth. 40DPS 2H + Windfury + Druid in humanoid form == Dead druids. One time the level 43 was in travel form just ahead of me in ghost wolf, he then stopped and tried to mount up, lol. He got on his mount just as he died. The 39 one tried to run and stealth once. I found him and windfurried+flurry+shock and killed him in one attack.

That's exactly what I was thinking. There are excellent programs like TS, Vent, Skype and even Roger Wilco, so why would you use the phone for voice comms

A. It's free.
B. It's easy.
C. I can let the dog out and still talk, headset is connected ot a 5.8Ghz phone.

We are getting ready to setup a Ventrilo server, but it's just not a high priority. BTW, you know if you can disable the button push to talk in these apps? Can you chose continous talking?

TS has voice activation mode, which, if you set the activation level very low would be like continuous talking, though set to a reasonable level makes more sense to me.

It's also free and easy and isn't limited to just two people.

I have little to no experience with the other apps, just know that people like them and use them. TS is what the guilds/clans I have been involved in have always used, so that is what I have used.

Thanks for the info. I want to try this because I just bought a nice USB surround headset, this way I can hear my friends and the game well and not worry about being too loud.
