There is no ModXStream 650W. Only 600W and 700W. ModXStreams are OK units, not bad but not great either. What would it cost you, and is it new or used? Can you state what system you're buying it for and where you are buying from? There are likely better options than that available.

I had 2 OCZ PSUs die on me after 60 days so now I steer clear from them. PCP&C Silencer MKIII 600w is tons better for the same price. Hell I'll take a cheap Corsair or Antec PSU over any OCZ any days of the week.

And newegg has the ModXStream for $39.99 after promo and rebate. $30 cheaper. It's pretty much the most budget friendly 600W PSU that's still somewhat good quality.

I have the PCP&C Silencer MKIII 600w and can recommend it.

What models were the ones that died?

I have a PCPnC Sliencer MKII 750w and recommend it highly, 7 year warranty plus its not modular so it wont make your case look messy.

I had that same OCZ model except the 700w and it lasted me for 1.5years before I upgrade to something else and sold it.

OCZ is definitely flakier than PCPnC, but it doesn't mean they have bad PSU's.

I do recommend PCPnC, however if you can get it for the same/lower price.

Fixed. You know very well that most people who have modular PSUs find that they make cable management easier. You're the only person I've ever heard to say that modularity makes the build look worse. Don't pass that on as a recommendation :|

Why is it OK for you to voice your opinion, and not me? Modular PSU's make a case look way too messy for me, non modulars look way too messy for you, how come you are the only one who can have his opinion stated?

I didn't say you can't state your opinion. I said you shouldn't make recommendations based on an opinion which is the direct opposite of what the most people think about modularity. Why? Because chances are that the OP will not share your minority opinion.
