Good Price on CPO Mercedes?

Hard to say without an option list, but its on the lower end of the scale nationally. I didn't find CPOs to vary a great deal in price when I was looking at C's. Check to make sure it has the equipment you want. MB likes to break everything out into a package.

Oh I guess they didn't post it.

This is what they sent to me.

--115V PWR OUTLET
--ALMOND/BLACK; MB-TEX SEAT TRIM
--BURL WALNUT WOOD INTERIOR TRIM
--LANE TRACKING PKG
--PARKTRONIC W/PARKING GUIDANCE
--POLAR WHITE
--PREMIUM 2 PKG
--REAR TRUNKLID SPOILER
--SPLIT-FOLDING REAR SEATS
--SPORT PKG
--WHEEL PKG

Premium counts Navi and stuff.

Seems like a decent deal to me.

Nice car. My MIL has one and I've driven it a bunch. Sweet ride.

Sounds good. This is for my mom. She ran her 2001 S430 to the ground (240,000 miles) so it's time to change.

I got the dealer down to $41k out the door. I don't think I'll be able to get more than that. Took a lot of back and forth for that $500 lol.

My MIL paid around $41k for hers in 2010 brand new (cash). She traded in a 2002 E320 with low mileage.

Yeah that 2002 E320 probably had a lot more value than my mom's car.

KBB has it at about $1000-1200. Paint is all messed. Window doesn't work driver side. Trunk doesn't open. Tires are all done for.

LoL.

I would say that the price seems to be high because it's pre-facelift it's missing out on alot of the new packages that came out. But a 2015 E-350 reasonably equipped is about 61K without haggling.

Trust me, I tried talking my mom out of a Mercedes and going for the Lexus GS350 but she's Asian and thinks "MB is class".

If it was me, I would definitely not get a pre-facelift car. That was one of the main reasons why I got my BMW instead of an Audi.

I like you 😎

The GS350 is most certainly class. The new BMW's are class. The MB pre-facelift is "classy" in a way that people think they own something nice when they are driving a late nineties german car. It just looks old.

Yup. I've liked the E-Class since it came out but "since it came out" means 2009. But heh, if that's what she wants then that's what she wants. :colbert:

That new E-Class is gonna be really nice though with that S-Class styling

The S class is a gallon of sexy.

Had such a bad experience at the dealership (House of Imports in Buena Park).

The girl showing me the car didn't know anything about it. I kept asking questions about the features/options and all she could say was "I don't know I'll check on that".

We had already negotiated the price but it took them 3 hours before they got me into meet with the finance manager. When we were finalizing the paperwork, they tried to up the pricing hoping I wouldn't notice. When I called them out on it, she threw a fit saying that that's how it is and she'll just lower it just to get through with it.

My experience when buying my BMW in Glendale set the bar. I negotiated the pricing before hand and my sales rep had the paperwork ready as soon as I walked in the door. I was in and out within the hour.

So after all that, did you end up buying it? Or did you walk away from it?

So crappy when they pull that shit. Mine was throwing in random BS like detailing charges and floor mats that I had to get removed. All I'm paying after the agreed price is TTL.

Yeah her reasoning was sometimes there are fees added into the end.

My negotiation was on an "out the door price", not "out the door + misc".
