I guess I need to further defend the Cooler Master unit I recommended. The unit is made by AcBel, who makes industrial quality power components, and has recently started to make ATX units as well (think Seasonic). It is ATX12V 2.0, so it has SATA, PCIe, and 24-pin ATX connectors. Every review I can find of it on google has it performing very well.

EDIT: my mistake, ATX12V 2.0 does not require a PCIe power connector, so this one does not have that either.

I have a 350w Sparkle and it does quite well. it runs the following..

1700+@2.4 (1.75v)
2x512 Hyper X (2.8v)
2 80GB 7200
6800GT @400/1100
Santa Cruz
2 optical drives
flop

3 Case fans ( 1 LED )
2 cold cathodes

:D

That being said, if buying a new PSU, I would buy at least a quality 400w.

No point in cutting it close when you can spend the extra $15-20 for the better unit that will definitely last longer down the stretch...( Future upgrades ) It also eliminates any issues that could be caused by a flaky PSU, or even one that is just cutting it close in power.

After what I experienced I wouldn't go for a small psu even if it has great specs.
480W TT almost killed my system after 7 months of normal use!!
I know it's a different case (probably it was defective from the beggining) even though I didn't have the slightest problem till a week ago but what I experienced will lead me from now on to go only for a top brand high quality/wattage psu with very good specs.

350 watts is plenty, and 400 more than future proof...past that its definitely over kill... a 300w quality high efficiency power supply would run that system no prob.

Super Tornado 350 W. Seasonics are quiet and stable as hell. One of the most efficient PSUs as well. Check SilentPCreview.com

Futureproofing with PSU Wattage is SO stupid.
Actaully that's one of the items that you can future proof with. I bought a 350W Enermax about 3 years ago and I almost got a 450W. IF I had "future proofed", that 450W would be plenty for my new system, and still allow me lots of room to upgrade.
My 350W didn't go to waste though, as I just gave my old computer to my kids to use.

He has a point in that prices for PSU prices have been coming down. It use to cost $100 plus for a decent one but now it only cost about $50.

Too bad Seasonic doesn't make a nuclear-fusion-powered PSU yet. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
