Best Castlevania by far... one of the best platformers ever probably. I love this game.

For RPGs, Final Fantasy 7 and Tactics are essentials. Chrono Cross, while over-hyped initially, is I think underrated and worth buying. Legend of Dragoon is supposedly very well done, though I haven't played it. Star Ocean 2 is always a great RPG. FF9, while not as good as 7, was enjoyable... as was Xenogears (which probably could have been one of the best RPGs ever if they hadn't screwed up the 2nd disc).

Armored Core is a great 3rd person shooter game, especially if you like big mecha type junk. Good multiplay too.

Alundra is another great game. Essentially, Alundra is to PSX what Zelda was to the SNES.

damn brings back a load of memories, PS1 still has some over the best games EVER so Resident Evil 2, Castlevania: SOTN, Armored Core, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, FFVII, Xenogears, Parappa the Rapper, Tekken 3, Final Fantasy Tactics, Metal Gear Solid, Alundra, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Gran Turismo 2, damn theres WAAAAAAAAY to many good games for PS1, Tony Hawk 2, Suikoden II, Star Ocean: The 2nd Story, Harvest Moon, The Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Cross, damn this was an awesome system

There's a motorcycle racing game that I use to play for hours and hours at a time. Not dirt bikes but actual Crotch Rocket sport bikes. No idea what it was called though. Moto Racing or something maybe? No idea.
