Thanks for the suggestions. Hawaii is my planned destination for my honeymoon, whenever that'll be.

Damn you guys tho'! I've been eyeing the Contiki Amsterdan trip for awhile, but I don't trust myself all the time, so yeah, like silverpig said, I too would prob. end up coming back from there pregnant as well...

CO isn't a bad idea. I just started trying to snowboard (I still suck) earlier this year, tho' I'm an okay skiier.

there will be other single people on the contiki tour that you will meet, trust me, and they can watch out for you.

bump for more ideas for travelling alone. I'm into a combo of outdoors stuff (particularly water related--swimming, snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, jumping off rocks, etc). and seeing the major sites and seeing the major babes.

Where should I go? Hawaii (Kauai) is near the top of the list.

Major babes? Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It's peak summer time there, perfect beach weather, lots of topless sun bathers.

You could get your jet skiing, para sailing, swimming, and etc. Easy to get in trouble though with so many hot women around. The exchange rate is 3-1 so it's more affordable than you might think. Helps if you speak Portuguese.

how about a long back packing trip... you'll meet people along the way.

Yeah I don't know if I'm quite ready for something like that. I need someplace that has enough 'must-see' things (besides nature) to keep me busy.

Are you serious?

Go to Glacier park (fly in and out of whitefish I believe) in Montana. plan on hiking 8-10 miles a day, with a 60-75 pound pack, and you will see must sees every hour. This amount of walking will can take you over mountain passes every other day, all the way up into canada, then back down along the continental divide.

:Q

You need to invest in some lighter gear! I carry everything but the kitchen sink and I have a hard time going over 50-55.

invite a female friend along for the trip. if your gf has a problem with it, tell she needs to quit using all her vacation time on her parents.
