Good places to live in and around Atlanta?

i would say keep looking. anything right off 85 north is convenient to the highway but that is about it. living near shallowford rd is not where you want to live and your budget affords you a place in a much nicer area of town.

My mom spoke with a friend in Atlanta that suggested Brookhaven. Nobody suggested that. Any comments about that area? Thanks.

By the way, I haven't formally accepted the offer because I am waiting on the updated paperwork in today's mail but I am decided to be moving to Atlanta for this job so this effort isn't in vain. 🙂

I think I am going to try to get in touch with a realtor that her friend recommended and see if the realtor can help me find some places to check out in a week when I head up there to find a place to live.
