Good Place to Go Dancing in San Francisco

I don't know about dancing, but asiaSF is an, um, interesting place to have dinner and a drink before you go out to dance.😉

1015 is full of underage kids on ecstasy with fake IDs. Gotta love the air conditioning though, when they turn it on.

Glas Kat has the reputation of overdressed asian women looking for men with money.

Ruby Skye is sweet. Crowded as it's perhaps the most fashionable club for the 25-35 set. Get there early or forget it.

Gillian's is pleasant, conveniently located at the Metreon with nearby parking and pool tables and a big bar. Not typically as crowded as other places so it's possible to have a conversation. No kids and usually a good mixture of attractive women.

pcmodem: Man, I remember the first time we went to Jillian's in SF. The one up in Seattle was like our second home, but it's only a pool hall. Anyways, the first time we went into the one up at the metreon, we were all like WTF?!?!? Definitely different. I just remember the layout felt kinda weird...a central dance floor, with tables all around it.

btw, funny story about the jillian's up in Seattle. It was Gary Payton's favorite hangout, too. So, one time in the afternoon, I went there with one of my friends and the only 4 people in the whole place were us 2, Gary Payton and one of his buddies. And, Payton and his friend kept checking out her ass the whole time. I bugged her about that for a looonnngggg time. 🙂
