Good place to buy an expensive camera

Hey guys,
I've been looking on the net a little for an SLR camera, but every place I see seems to be way expensive, or have a horrible reseller rating. Any ideas on where to buy? I'm looking for one of the following: Canon Digital Rebel XT, Nikon D50, or a Pentax *ist DL/DS. I'm am also interested in a warranty, if its good. Thanks in advance!
 
How does that compare (specs) to the 10D? You could probably get a used 10D pretty cheap.

Also, unless you don't even intend to have a better camera than the one you buy now, you really should decide on the brand you want. Switching brands isn't really cheap when you already have a bunch of expensive lenses. 😉

My wife usually gets her stuff from B&H, Beach Camera, or Adorama.

sure you might get it cheaper someplace else but if you want warranty and service this is where you should go
 
Beach Camera, and I think a place called B&H [Photo World... right?] are both good places.

-i order all of my stuff from adorama.com. best (real) prices, fast shipping
-ritz camera typically has slightly jacked up prices but they have physical stores.
 
check ebay. some of the stores mentioned above have auctions up for their stuff and its cheaper than buying at the actual store.

Cameta camera is where I got my last 2 cameras from, but i bought them through ebay.
