For nasal/throat congestion? I can't stand having a stopped up nose and throat. Should I buy the nose spray or is there something better than might clear up both temperarly?

Pseudoephedrine? Better yet are things I can't discuss. The most powerful of bronchial dilators.

Anyone else tried Sudafed and it work good? Which should I get 24 hour? I mainly want something that works good of the night. I can't sleep with my nose stopped up.

I need something I can go into Wal-Mart and buy. I know nose sprays will re leave congestion for up to 6-8 hours but I would rather take something that will re leave all the congestion if possible.

Tylenol Sinus seemed to work when first tried it a while ago but doesn't work as good anymore.

Can you use Nasal Spray and still take sinus meds? Like if the sinus meds don't work well can I go ahead and use the nasal spray?

IF the sinus meds don't provide some relief you likely have some a problem requiring more than an OTC pharmaceutical solution; in other words, see a doctor.

My sinuses are kicking my arse right now, and the only relief I'm able to get is from OTC Claritin D. It's working for me at the moment. I needed the antihistamine in addition to the decongestant as I was having horrible allergy fits with my eyes, etc.

Allergies < *.

The nasal sprays with steriods in them are more trouble than they're worth. If you want to use a nasal spray to help, just get the plain saline ones.

Don't know if it has steriods in it or not but I bought over the counter Afrin 12 hour nasal spray and some Motrin Sinus meds that says to take 1 every 4-6 hours take 2 if needed. I tried only taking one and it seemed to help some but didn't last but a couple hours. I am thinking about just using the nasal spray since its suppose to last longer. But not sure if you can mix them?

Maybe I should try taking 2 of the motrin here in a hour or so?
