The Heroes of Might and Magic 3 set says it works with Windows 7. I own the original HoMM3 and can't get it to work on Windows 7 to save my life. I take it this has been patched by 3DO to work on Windows 7? It's the only reason I will sign up for GoG so if it may not work I won't even bother.

I'm not sure about Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but I know they use DOSBox to get other games to work with Windows 7. I'm running Win7 64bit and all the games I've purchased from them work fine.

I can vouch for HoMM3 working on Windows 7 64bit downloaded from GOG. One of my favorites.

I love that place. So many memories and great games that I couldn't get to work, now do. And they are all DRM free!!!!!
Many with manuals and extras that you don't get from other places.

3DO doesn't exist anymore. Try using Compatibility mode.

Most of them are supposed to have had some work done on them, I think. Every once in a while, I hear about one that has issues, though.

All of them are supposed to work out of the box with XP and Vista. 7 is still iffy on some titles. Such is my understanding.

Anyone get their download to work under Win 7 64 bit? I couldn't even install it, was reported as corrupted even though I downloaded it several times. Gave up and just grabbed the games directly without a hitch.

Mine were fine, but I did buy 1 game that won't run in W7. I guess I have to wait until they patch it.

Got their Blood2. Unfortunately it does not work in Windows 7 x64. Many people have reported the issue and it has never been fixed.

People have a thread going on their forum about the problem and still no reply/fix has been provided.

GOG sells crap.

Great game. Fortunately, I still have the original disk and didn't have to pay for it again!

Also GOG is great, I bought Freespace 2 from them a while back and it works perfectly.

I heard GOG has a patched and fixed version of Beyond Good & Evil that will work. Unlike the retail, & steam versions. I just can't justify spending more than pennies on something I already paid for once at a higher price.

Highly recommend gog to you all even though I feel so hurt by their shenanigan last time. Hard for me to come back after that and yea I've tried several times to get a few games but just couldn't bring myself to support them.

Again, good for you guys if you are new to them or don't feel "burned" by them.
