I dont understand why people like Divine Divinity so much. I thought the game was atrociouslly bad. I couldnt even get past 30 min of it. The character moves very slowly. Diablo2 is a much older game but you could move a lot faster there. Quests are super lame. Mosly fetch quests... Maybe it gets better later, but I couldnt tolerate the game long enough to get there. Very difficult to tell where you are going.

The graphics were absolutely HORRIBLE for a game made when this game was released. I know a bunch of people will jump in and accuse me of being a graphics whore... No, I am not all about graphics. Gameplay is by far more important. Hovever, in this particular case, I just cannot see why I should play this crap when there are much better games out there...

Quick question on PS:T. Is there a widescreen type of mod for it similar to the one released for BGII? As much as I would love to try the game, if I have no choice but to play it on a painfully low resolution then I'll pass, no matter how great it is. :|

It's the exact same mod, as it's the same engine powering both games. So you can play at any resolution you'd like.

So what's Divine Divinity like? Is it a hack and slash or more a traditional type of RPG?
From what I've read about it and the little I've played of it, it seems to have a good balance between story, questing, and combat. Certainly not a straight up hack and slash ala Diablo.

Are you sure you played Divine Divinity? The characters actually move very fast. You just have to move the cursor further away from the character so that he will run instead of walk.

Also, how does the age of a game have anything to do with characters movement speed? Your acting like the newer the game, the faster the characters should move. Likely one the least logical statements I've ever heard.
