Maybe I should have phrased my post better, regardless if the Mullahs of Iran fall or not, the Iranian people will remain committed to a peaceful nuclear energy electrical conversion for Iran.

As it is, its only the USA and Israel that are still in a snit about losing a corrupt Shah of Iran.

And now danger danger danger for the USA, a new mid-east liberation movement may even bring down the House of Faud in Saudi Arabia before all is done. As for Iraq, any stability there is there is far wider than it is deep. As for Iran, its set its own foreign policy despite a 30 year effort of the USA and Israel to wreck Iran.

But ironically, Iran is not really a part of the Mid-East, Iran is Persian and Shiite, and Iran's future is really towards the East, for the vast Natural gas markets of the India economy. As for Iran at this point in time, after cementing alliances with Syria, and Turkey, as a side issue, why should not Iran have a small naval presence in the Mediterranean sea? As a naval power, Iran is a pipsqueak, but it shows Iran in in solidarity with mid-east regime change. Meanwhile back at the Iranian ranch, the Mullah's of Iran may be the next regime to fall.

But if Iran build a pipeline To India, it may be in US interests, as it will bail the USA out of problems in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Isreal has been concerned about Iran in that it support those that strike against Israel.

If Iran stopped supporting/encouraging Syria/Hezbolah and Hamas; tensions would be reduced.

Also, it has been the Iranian leadership that is verbally spouting about destruction of Israel; it is not Israel that talks abouit the destruction of Iran.

Common Courtesy says, "Also, it has been the Iranian leadership that is verbally spouting about destruction of Israel; it is not Israel that talks abouit the destruction of Iran."

As Iran tries to obsessively contain Iran and all other mid-east nations. And as Israel openly talks about various plans to bomb Iranian nuclear sites many times. Yet let one Iranian nut case talk about wiping the Israeli gains in the 67&73 wars off the map, and Israel has a hysterical hissie fit. As everyone else in the world wants Israel to vacate those same lands to set up a Palestinian State which would also change the map.

As it is Saudi Arabia spends more on supporting anti-Israeli terrorism than Iran, but somehow Iran is supposedly the big villain. Meanwhile Israel has made military strikes inside of Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, in the past decade, and in the process have killed far more innocent civilians that Hamas and Hezbollah combined would kill in centuries at the present rate.

Israel is just the redheaded stepchild of the middle east and will never feel secure. As long as the US could buy off dictators like Mubarak it helped to reduce some of the tension, but it isn't paranoia if everybody is out to get you. At this point Iran is merely a minor problem compared to a more democratic middle east.
