Good Ol' Boys

Now here's a flame thread if I ever saw one. But to answer your question, I didnt vote due to lack of appropriate 3rd response: BOTH.

Normally, I associate the term with people in the upper echelons of society - the people that pull the strings. They can be either democrats or republicans or neither and not all democrats and republicans are "good ol' boys."

Anyway, I watched the video - the person who made it claims that it would help clear up misinformation about himself? How the f*ck does it do that? All it looks like is something to spread misinformation about the opponents.

I associate it with republicans. My friend works for a large weapons contractor and he says everyone there is a good ol' boy and very conservative, but it will serve him well when they retire soon and he pulls down 7 figures like they are now.

One mans ceiling is another mans floor.
I won't vote on this because I honestly don't associate Good Ol' Boys with a political party.
I will agree with this assessment though ....... "entrenched southerners".
