Graphics performance is a PRETTY IMPORTANT enhancement and unless your system is lacking in amount of RAM, most likely XP's performance hit would be minimal, it seems to me. >>
yah that would make sense to me also, but i also have seen some of these eMachines on sale and most of them are ill-equipped in the area of ram, i dont have one i reinterate, but those of you that do may have a low amount of ram, this may hurt your performance instead of help.
then again i've never really dealt with shared memory video..just my 2 cents...
