She actually said back in April that she doesn't "intend" to run for public office again. Whether or not that intent holds up...we'll see.

It's not because I don't like them, respect them, think they are intelligent or well intentioned, but precisely because I like them, respect them, think they are intelligent and well intentioned. Sending those two into politics would be like sending an anemic 8 year old little girl fighting cancer to a forced labor camp. Or, to use a better analogy, sending a Thoroughbred in it's prime to a petting zoo. They are scientists. Let them do science, for humanity's sakes (and theirs).
