Good News About Roger the Troll Hunter

Recently, we heard of the plight of Roger our Troll-Hunter (his computer fried). Many of the forum members offered to help get Roger another computer but we couldn't get ahold of him.

I have received info from Roger through official AT channels (our helpful Moderator):

If you do a search (maybe in archives by now), you'll discover some misguided forum members actually accused Roger of being a troll (probably when there is no news, malicious gossip makes it up).

Evidently, these members wondered what happened to a certain part mailed to Roger (which part actually caused the premature demise of his MB). When no answer was forthcoming from Roger, they assumed (and posted) the worst.

I believe this was the story. We then set the story right and tried to get computer parts donated for Roger but couldn't contact him.

Many members, including myself, are glad to hear he is alive and kicking. Hope his puter is running sooner than later.

By the way, mods, I think a special title for Roger alone would be a very sweet idea. The man has done so much to help when he was here. Hopefully we can avoid swamping him like before.
