hi guys, i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good music studio software. i already have FL studio but i was wondering if there was anything more hardcore than that that i haven't seen...

preferably something that doesn't have a confusing interface and does splitting splicing etc...

anything more hardcore will be much more complicated. I have a producer friend, he uses Reason. I spend awhile on his PC messing with it. I got nowhere. ACiD is similar to FL but not as complete. Everything else is going to be pretty expensive, complicated and have a pretty high learning curve. There are real producers who use FL Studios to be honest. 9th Wonder is a very big Hip-Hop producer and he's said he uses FL for his beats. And his work is very high quality stuff.

Well, back in the 80s I was involved in such things, and the products of choice by the pros were by Voyetra. Voyetra was acquired by Turtle Beach, and I would still consider them as top drawer products.
