DayZ (potential for spontaneous and dynamic situations you've never experienced in a game before)

Diablo 3 Hardcore (if you're willing to risk BS from bnet servers)

oh if it's on same PC, no idea. some console emulator?

The only games I know that really supported same computer multiplayer were released before internet access was common. Some turn based games have a hot-seat mode though. I think HoMM5 has this.

nobody want's your mediocre input

Yeah, not very helpful.

Anyway, I think you're better off getting your friends to bring their desktop or laptop for a LAN connection. To make it easier, pick a game that runs easily on any PC in the last 4 years. There are a lot of options with this.

One of the games from Worms series.
Heroes of Might and Magic. Dunno if newer games support multiple players on one PC.
Fighting games... on one keyboard. Not sure how many keys pressed simultaneously a keyboard can accept, but couple of years ago it worked fine.

i will look into that but right now the only game we can play is Street Fighter x Tekken

If you want a fun multiplayer game that will run on pretty much anything, try bzflag.org. Its a very fun tank battle game with clients that run on anything and many severs to choose from. Very easy to learn. Impossible to master.

Serious Sam 3 supports up to 4 player splitscreen. Make sure your PC is powerful enough.

Trine 2 supports up to 3 players.

Blur supports 2 players (maybe more, not sure.)

Portal 2 can be hacked to support 2 player splitscreen coop. But it's a royal pain in the ass (functionality is there, but Valve chose not to enable it on PCs, just consoles.)
