How y'all doing?

A low-key Tuesday here at work. I'm in my comfortable yet mundane Sr position of my job... getting work done and neffing sideways. I think I'm gonna go home tonight and send out some resumes and cover letters.

How's your morning today?
 
Not too bad... snowing here but not enough to keep me home from this wonderful place.

I'm currently wondering if some people feel they have a certain talking quota to hit before 9am.

The hen house next door is boomin... the manager is away at a meeting.

I'm not too bad. Gonna go out for a smoke, then get back to work on the Windows service installer I'm workin on, and I'm thinkin about makin the breakfast pizza I brought from home. Simply delicious.

Snow on the ground, with 4-12" more predicted (the range depends on which update I'm reading). Official campus status: "Business as usual."
We only close for power outages. Oh well.

Ugh that really sucks... you've probably got a root canal -> new crown buildup -> new crown coming your way.

 
sucky day so far... argued with kids, server is giving me headaches and a PLC for a job went missing. 3 hours of getting nothing done so far today...
 
Kicked off a 2 month long HPUX database migration today! wheeeeeeeeeeee!! This has been months in the planning but took just a day and a half to kick off. 6.2TB database

Exactly what I am getting! 🙁

Had root canal this morning. Tooth broke under crown and became infected...major ouch!!! Have to wait a week for infection to clear up and then be fitted for new crown. This morning sucked!!! (at least it doesn't hurt so far and I have better "pain" medication to take if necessary now).
