Good mini receivers?

Are there any good mini / shelf receivers with at least 1 digital and 2+ analog 2-channel inputs?

This is for a home office, for music listening (radio, music server) and sometimes stereo PC audio, with a pair of Polk bookshelf speakers.

I probably can't talk myself into spending more than $400, otherwise I'll get something full-sized.
 
I would love to know the answer to this as well. Ive been looking for a while and can't seem to find something to fit the bill that isnt way way too expensive.
 
i've never seen a receiver that wasn't roughly 18" wide and at least 12" deep.

i think these would be good choices around $200-$300
