Good memory benchmark?

I'm trying to find out if two sticks of PC2700 in DC is faster then one stick of PC3200. However Sandra shows slower speeds with the 2700 even though it does show two channels active. However my system feels snappier. So I'm wondering what a good mem benchmark would be.

Good point. I'm going to do some more testing. MemTest86 shows 950MB/s of bandwidth which is more then usual though.

I would think games that are no longer limited by the video card are good indicators of memory performance. Any game based on the Q3A engine should show any differences, although I have a feeling they are very small if you have an AMD system.

IMHO this is the only "benchmark" that matters. I don't give a d@mn what magic number some piece of software gives me. If your computer feels faster one way than it does the other, that's the better configuration. Believe that, and not some number.

AIDA32 Enterprise edition has a built in memory benchmark, it can compare your memory to other configurations as well, overall the program is superb.
