Good Mac Database Program?

I'm looking for a decent mac database program. Either for OS 9.x or Jaguar.

I would be good if there was a Windows version so I could share the DB files.
 
Is there a version of Access for Macs? I know there is MS Office for Macs but I don't know if that includes Access.

Not that Access is good but I honestly don't know much about Macs.
 
Filemaker Pro and 4D are the two most popular database programs for the Mac. Microsoft doesn't make Access for the Mac.

Both Filemaker and 4D will let you do cross-platform development, and both should be available for OSX. In my opinion, 4D has a much higher learning curve than Filemaker.
