FYI guys, The Lost Children of Rockdale County is a documentary of Rockdale County's(GA I believe) teenagers. There's a high rate of STDs and such in said teenage population, and if I remember right(I haven't read about nor seen the documentary in a while), the documentary covered how this was so(most of the teenagers are sexually active). Hence the reason behind "the sandwich" being mentioned.
