good looking cases?

A 'good looking case' is determined by the person who will have it. A good looking case to me might not be as desireable to other people. I tend to shy away from cases with all the lights and windows and such. I tend to go for subtle looks along with high form/function over flash and no bang. I also don't mind spending a decent amount for a case, which too many people don't want to it seems...

BTW, the lights, windows and such have been over done to DEATH... Stealth is the way to be... Just like with vehicles. I don't want to hear some deaf bastard's stereo 4 city blocks away. I don't even want to hear it 25 feet away. Same with the dumb bastards that have the exhaust tips that turn their little 4-bangers into wind-up toy sounding vehicles... They just scream "RICE BURNER"!!!

Maybe I've just gotten old, but some these cases, esp the ones from the boutiques are just downright gawdy. Aesthetic value judgements are always dangerous but i think somtimes they can be made, ie, catwoman was terrrible movie, britney spears forgotten in 20 years, pastic bezel cases with orange and green, just plain ugly, lian and silverstone cases timeless, elegant designs.

note: i think lights and windows can be tastfully done (alot like makeup), as long as you use restrait and common sense.

I too cannot stand all this melted plastic neon skull stuff polluting the market these days, esp when companies like CoolerMaster discontinue great cases like that ATC-110.

Leaves very little for those of us wanting clean and classy cases without arbitrary holes in the side, or blinking, dancing, singing, rotating junk all over it.

Coolermaster!!! Bring back the ATC-110!! While your at it, make the fans 120mm instead of 80mm so we can fit 120mm radiators inside!!! Rotating the HDD cage 90 deg like the Antec Sonata and Alienware cases would also be nice to allow more room between the case front and the drive bays for said radiators and 120mm fans 🙂

i use a nice big clean looking antec sx835 with the factory side window with fan intake and three blue led 80mm fans in my watercooled p4 rig but use this in my secondary box. so much for us geezers and the "get down cool gear". actually the case looks like my bimmer 540i 😉
