Good lan party pc?

What is the most portable/well designed lan setups you guys have seen? I have been looking at the Lian Li PC-30, but are there even better solutions around the same price?

there's not much to a "lan pc". as long as it's not bolted to the ground you can pick up a computer and move it to a lan party.
if you're wondering what a good LOOKING pc is.....you're on the right track. lian-li's are great to look at. also the kingwin's w/ the 3 windows.

EDIT: oh yeah, i forgot, you can always grab one of these to make any case more "portable".

Those shuttle systems have a lotta bang for their size.

yep, I gotta agree with the shuttle system. FlexATX is tiny, but powerful if you don't need much more than a HD, 1 video card, and a CPU.

Antec recently came out with an aluminum LANBOY case. It seems to be the same as the SLK2600AMB just in aluminum. People really like the SLK2600AMB. I was about to get one, but went with a Antec SX1030 clone.

Go with the shuttle. The new nForce2 version would be good.

Either a Shuttle or a good laptop. Laptops are surprisingly good at gaming these days...just get a Mobility 9000 chip in there. The price of a good computer with a good LCD is about the same as a good laptop.

possibly true... unforturnately a "good" laptop's performance is about equal to a mediocre/low end pc.

Some of the briefcase modded pcs look good. Portable and easy
to work with.
