Good knife sharpener for kabar?

any suggestions? i got a 1214 black that came dull out of the box. i dont want to ruin the black with a crappy sharpener. whats a good sharpener for a kabar with serrated edges?

is this a good one to go with?

Ceramic honing systems are the way to go, Spyderco making probably the best ones. You can get others for half the price though. If I was keeping a sharpener in a back pack I'd probably opt for a sturdier one piece solution like a DMT stone (synthetic diamond, 800 or 1000 grit). DMT also makes a diamond coated spike for sharpening serrations, they work pretty good.

Sharpening

* Keep knives sharp by touching up edges as needed.
* Most KA-BAR knives can be sharpened using an Arkansas stone or commonly available sharpening system.
* Most knives can easily be touched up using a coarse or hard stone.
* When bringing back a very dull edge a coarse or hard stone should be used first, followed by a finer, softer stone.
* Knives made with D2 steel require diamond or ceramic sharpeners.
* Knives should at no time be sharpened on a belt sander or bench grinder. These machines ruin a factory-sharpened edge.
