Insomniak, you have your opinion, I have mine. I'm just giving an argument so that others can decide which USB drive they want by looking at both sides.

I disagree.
Fair enough, but you are wrong.
Those are my opinions, I don't think you can call me wrong just because I don't think the way you do.

Fair enough, although I like the "worn" look my Cruzer Titanium now has - like a good pair of broken in jeans, it gives it character.
That's your taste, but I prefer electronics that look new and so do most people I know.

Only a concern if you keep it on a keychain, which I don't, but others' mileage may vary.
I only really mentioned the keychain thing because the OP wants to put his USB drive on his keychain.

As opposed to a USB plug just sitting out there that can just snap off? 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
I don't think I could snap the USB plug off if I tried.
"6 of one, half a dozen of the other. " <== Huh?

How often do you take your flash drive swimming? I've had mine for several months now, no problems. And yes, caps can be lost. Replacements? Sure, but is it worth the hassle? Up to you.
When I said liquids, I meant that the cap would protect the drive better from accidents like if you spilled your drink on the table where your USB drive was or something like that. The cap would keep spills and splashes out. Replacements are easy, just take <5 minutes to sign up for Sandisk tech support and ask for one, they'll send you it within a week free of charge.

Quality does typically cost more.
I don't think one has a lot better quality than the other, I mean they're both made by the same company. You're mainly paying for more features on the Titanium.

Broken = not working. Damaged, I believe, is the word you're looking for.
Not really, broken can mean "To crack without separating into pieces" among other things. I got that quote from the dictionary.
