You completely missed his point. She's paid to know these things. CPA isn't paid, nor is he applying for her job, so he wouldn't be expected to "do better."

Are you always stupid? Between this idiotic comment and somehow fucking up clicking the "quote" button, I imagine the answer is 'yes'.
The answer is yes.

If Kathie's question about his wife was painful to the poor man, how do you suppose that continuing to discuss it ad nauseum would make him feel?

Let it go, already.

Dont worry, Kathy Lee Gifford sent an apology via Twitter yesterday. Too bad the recipient (@MartinShort) isn't the Martin Short she was apologizing to.

Why the eff do celebrities and athletes and whatnot feel it's appropriate to apologize via Twitter? Not only do mistakes like this happen all of the time (tweeting to the wrong person) but an apology via Twitter sends the message that you're more concerned with people knowing you tried to apologize than with actually apologizing.

umm because they can't PERSONALLY respond to the most vocal that were butthurt.

How do you know she didn't apologize in person, before he left the studio?

I didn't know either, but that actually wasn't nearly as bad as one might imagine. He handled it maturely and her apology was appropriate.

If that were the case then WTF would she tweet an apology. Your logic fails.

Because she screwed up publicly, it makes perfect sense that she would apologize publicly.

She also apologized to his family in her tweet, where apologizing to them in person wasn't possible. Did you fail to read that part, or did your logic dictate that you should ignore what you didn't want to see?

It's Kathie, not Kathy, and that information is included in the link you posted. Maybe you shouldn't be pointing out other people's mistakes.

Thanks, in the future when I am discussing Kathie I will not repeat that mistake.... I directly copied the thread title for that information.

Yea, she screwed up, but at least she was able to publicly admit to the error and apologized. Why do you people hold grudges for so long? Once someone has admitted they made a mistake and apologized for it shouldn't that be the end of it? :/
