dishwashing isn't all that bad, depending on the place you work at. i used to be a dishwasher and we had parties all the freggin time. parties wouldn't end until midnight and i wouldn't leave until 3am and then they'd want to open at 8. not worth 6.50 an hour.

Golf courses hire lots of teenagers for the summer months. You might be a little late now, but you can try applying for backshop/proshop or for grounds crew.

I'd agree with this except for the fact that nowdays everything costs money. Seriously, there's not a lot to do that doesn't cost money. And I don't know about anyone else but my parents aren't about to pony up the dough for every little thing I'd like to do....

Grounds crew. That's what I do. $13.92/hr right now, and I'm going to a different course in September where they'll allow me to work 5:30 am - 9:30 am (it's right by the university so I can schedule 10am class and be fine)... and I hear they'll pay me anywhere from $16-$19/hr there 😀
