Good image gallery scripts

I'm currently hosting a photo gallery for my OTC (English equiv of ROTC) unit using 4images. Had a few complaints from people though that want to be able to batch upload photos and who want to be able to select a whole load of photos to batch download. The autothumbnailer also ends up making rubbish looking thumbnails.

Anybody know of any better free scripts that would do these things and still look decent. The server is running linux by the way and although I?ve dabbled with it in the past I?m still a noob.

I just used a template from photoshop and then edited the template to meet my needs as far as looks and colors go, and I personally like it better than the gallery software out there. Most of the other gallery ones that I have seen look like its a whole second product for the gallery viewer, whereas w/photoshop you can make the templates of the gallery match your needs and wants.

look at my site in my sig and click on the gallery links and you'll see what i'm saying about matching it to the style of the website.

repost. there's been numerous threads on this. try gallery or coppermine -- whichever one suits you best. personally, i prefer coppermine.

Dick? Was that what you were going to say but chickened out?

Hmm.

Anyway, yeah don't mind me pointing out the obviously easy forum organization. Disregard my post pointing to the correct forum where you can find conversations about this very topic that are already discussed in detail. Yup, ignore me.
