I know you can have slokets and stuff so I was wondering what if you took like high gauge wire and ran a bunch of it from a socket to a few feet outside your case and hook your CPU up outside your case. You could make an aluminum box or something to put it in. Then you could get really big heatsinks with water cooling peltiers etc.. Without having to worry about space or ruining anything inside your case from condensation.

Would this work? Would you need some kind of repeater? Would you get cross talk even with shielded wire? Would it effect latency?
