So, Monday... Prom tickets go on sale, and the time is dwindling down to find a date. So today, I brainstormed, and finally found enough courage to decide to ask this girl I've had a crush on for a good six months. I bought five pink-tipped yellow roses ($30 @ 1-800-FLOWERS) and tomorrow I am going to leave one rose on her desk, every period. Then when fifth period rolls around, I'm gonna be waiting in her seat, and when she walks in, I'm handing her the fifth one, and asking her to prom... wish me luck. And yes, thought of it all by myself.

Yeah, a couple friends have already told me that it is risky, and might scare her. But like a bunch of her close friends are the ones egging me on to do it...

ask her if she likes to be eaten out, if she says yes, say, "i'll do it if you go the the prom with me'" its cheaper than flowers and a lot more fun. thats what i do.

leave him alone, its a nice thought

the only problem is that it can go horribly wrong in a public place. you gotta think about the worst case scenario as well

How close are you two? I mean if you were close enough friends it would probably work but any further and it would be bordering weird.

She's one of those girls that really can't say no. She took some complete loser to Homecoming (she didn't like the kid even as a friend, and couldn't say no) and we danced most of that night. She's a good friend of mine, and we talk a lot, so it's not like I'm walking up to a random girl. And I know for sure that she doesn't have a date, and hasn't been asked yet.

Over-the-top, but if you already have mutual friends who can vouch for your non-stalker nature (assuming that you actually aren't a stalker :p ) then it should be OK. Though if she declines, you're out a decent amount of money for a HS kid.

Dude, make sure to ask if you can touch her "there" or else you'll never go from making out to feeling up to poon!

PS - Report back with results of course. Don't be a wimp even if she says 'No!'

I like his idea. Brings me back five years when I was doing something similar. Have a blast.

OH GOD I've never once hoped that an AT'er went to my school, but I WANT TO WALK IN ON MONDAY AND BE ABLE TO WITNESS THIS FIASCO.

Unfortunately, we don't have 5 periods. We have 4.
