Good idea to do craigslist transactions inside of a bank?

I was wondering if it is a good idea to conduct craigslist transactions inside of a bank. For example if buying a car, the buyer and seller would meet inside of the bank, buyer creates a cashier's check inside of the bank and pays the seller right then and there. I mean sure you guys could say why not pay the seller in cash but I'd think for safety sake of the seller who is now carrying a sizeable sum of money that they'd be better of carrying a cashier's check than cash. Even better, if the buyer and seller have the same bank, the buyer could give the money to the seller and the seller could deposit it immediately. Also if there is a problem, this would all be caught on tape as well.

I conducted my last craigslist transaction in a dealership parking lot with sales associates standing around (buying a tire).

I sold my last car on Craigslist, and completed the transaction inside my bank. It was convenient (both parties involved banked at the same bank) and safe. If the buyer wanted to screw me over, the lobby of a bank would be the last place for him to do it.

Back in college, I'd always tell people to meet me at the campus police station parking lot. Hard for anyone to screw over a college kid surrounded by half a dozen campus cops.

Also, always have a friend with you when doing Craigslist transactions.

I do all my CL transactions in a shady motel or the niddle of the night at a empty parking lot. It keeps the anonomous aspect of the deal. 😀

I usually meet the buyer in the middle of the desert. I also make sure Mel Gibson and his sniper rifle are nearby on a hill.

I'm sorry, but i refuse to answer any question that is a question fragment.

"Do craiglist transactions inside of a bank?" is a fragment.

Please rephrase it... to make it slightly resemble english.

I paid for my last transaction (A Lexus) in my CU only because that's where the money was. All other transactions I've conducted have been at my house or wherever.

Buying/selling a tire at a dealership ... that's a bit over-the-top.

Since the subject lines of emails or forums are necessarily required to be sentences I believe the OP is fine with placing a fragment there. The only thing I can do is enact Goodwin's Law and call you a grammar nazi.

Hey, I never did get the "happy ending" as promised!

Just make sure you remember to place on your ski mask after the deal is done and see how fast the buyer can run.
