I've been looking into finally setting up a decent home theater. I've just about decided on getting a Harmon Kardon AVR320 receiver and Acoustic Research HC2 or HC6 speakers. Anyone own these and can comment on how they perform? Any suggestions to other possible receivers is the $500-$700 range and speakers under $500.
Basically I decided on the Harmon Kardon AVR320 because of all of the inputs and outputs it has so I should be able to add on more devices in the future and it is suppose to be pretty powerful even though it has a low watts output.
I can't find a store near me that sells any Acoustic Research speakers, so I wanted some opinions before I dump my money into them.
Figured I would buy from Crutchfield because I can easily return the stuff if it sucks. If its good then I can amex blue PM to the cheapest place I can find.
