I like Alpine but man they don't get great reviews. I was wondering if anyone could recommend something that is user friendly that will play MP3s and also dock my iPod if I wanted to.

Im sure you will get some decent responses from audio people here, but might want to try The Garage forum for a head unit unless you already tried?

I personally know alot about home audio, but couldn't tell you the next thing about car audio 😛 My roommate has done a good amount of work on the system in his car though and I know he likes Pioneer and Panasonic heads.
