After robbing and fatally beating and stabbing his father, 19-year-old Matthew Nellessen went on a shopping spree, took a girlfriend on a date and used his father’s debit card to get spending money, prosecutors said at the start of his murder trial Wednesday.

at $70k-100k+ per year I vote death as he is pretty young and will cost the tax payers a LOT of money over his life time.

Matthew Nellessen appeared in court on March 25 of this year, having agreed to a sentence of four years for violating his probation. The judge, who had seen the 19-year-old in his courtroom time after time, decided to show him one last measure of leniency and sentenced him to time served.

His life would turn all too violent in less than a month, according to authorities. Nellessen is accused of bringing a three-man crew with him into his father's house and waiting for George to come home from work. The four then allegedly bound him to a chair, took his money and cards, and forced him to sign a $100,000 check. Investigators say Matthew then beat his father with a baseball bat, and, when his father survived that attack, cut his throat with a knife.

This kid deserves the death sentence. He is FUBR.

An Allentown woman admitted Friday to killing her newborn after secretly giving birth in a pub bathroom, under a plea agreement that allowed her to escape a potential death sentence.

On Aug. 19, cleaners found the infant's body after the toilet wouldn't flush. Opening the tank, employees uncovered a boy of 33 to 36 weeks' gestation wrapped in a plastic bag that had lined a small garbage can in the stall, authorities say.
